We graft different varieties each year which become saleable 18 months -2 years later so check back soon to see what new varieties we have available. All plants are growing in 200mm (8") pots. For postage, we bare root them, wrap roots in wet paper and package carefully before posting with Australia Post. This has proven to be a successful method of distribution. We will email to confirm your order and arrange delivery BEFORE we ship anything out. Please look out for this email confirmation or it will delay your order. Alternatively, you can arrange to pick up your order but we are only open by appointment.

Highly ornamental shrub grown for spectacular flushes of new red foliage. Ruby red young leaves distinguish this cultivar originally bred in New Zealand. Evergreen shrub well suited to hedging which can reach 4-5m tall. Heads of many small white flowers mid to late Spring fade to brown. Berries are produced. Will grow in most free draining soils in full sun. Highly tolerant of clipping which promotes new flushes of red foliage. For best results enrich soil with well rotted compost included in a thick mulch layer. Excellent tall hedge and can be grown in large tubs or containers.
